KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles Announces New Lineup

Hip Hop KPWR-FM (Power 106) in Los Angeles reveals a new programming lineup, highlighted by Justin Credible's transition from the evening slot to afternoons. Starting Tuesday, "Justin Credible's Liftoff Show" will air from 2-6pm, bringing a fresh dynamic to the afternoon listening experience.

Credible, known for his vibrant energy and deep passion for Hip Hop, expressed his enthusiasm about the move. "I'm thrilled to be moving to this new time slot," he said. "It is an excellent opportunity to engage with listeners seeking their daily intake of Hip Hop and entertainment."

Pio Ferro, SVP of Meruelo Media Audio Brands, emphasized the impact of the show's relocation. "Justin Credible's Liftoff Show is a staple for Power 106. Justin captivates audiences with his infectious energy, deep passion for Hip Hop, celebrity interviews, freestyles, and his engaging content," Ferro remarked.

The station's evening schedule will now feature B-Nyce and DJ Carisma, with the "Talk 2 Me Nyce" show airing from 6-10pm on weekdays. DJ Carisma will take over the decks from 6-8pm. B-Nyce shared his excitement about the new lineup, stating, "We'll be bringing that infectious energy and passion for Hip Hop. Can't wait to connect with the city every night."

Additionally, Power 106's morning show, "Brown Bag Mornings," will start an hour earlier, now running from 5-10am on weekdays. In another addition, DJ E-Man will helm the "Power Midday Mix," which will air weekdays from 12-1pm.
