Jenny (Jenny V) Valliere is shifting back to middays at WTMX-FM (101.9 The Mix) in Chicago, following the exit of longtime host Lisa Allen, who departed the station last month amid staff reductions at Hubbard Radio.

Valliere will now be heard weekdays from 10am-2pm while continuing in her role as Assistant Program Director. She had previously co-hosted "Afternoon MIX with McCabe & Jenny" since April, 2022 and held the midday shift prior to that.

Announcing the move on Instagram, Valliere wrote, "After three incredible years of afternoons with @mccabeonair, I have stepped into a new chapter-and a new/old time slot! You can now catch me weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on The Mix, where I've got some BIG shoes to fill. I'll also continue my role as Assistant Program Director."

She added, "I hope you'll hang with me during your workday-and don't worry, you can still catch McCabe on your drive home. And yes, he'll always be a Bobo Head in my book... I get to remind him every single day when I leave the studio, and he takes over!"

Valliere joined WTMX in 2022 as Music Director and midday host. She came to Chicago from KZIA-FM (Z102.9) in Cedar Rapids, IA, where she served as Program Director, Music Director, and afternoon air personality.
