After more than 40 years behind the microphone, beloved Southern California radio personality Dave Randall has announced his retirement. Randall, currently heard weekdays on 95.1 KBBY and 103.3 KRUZ in Ventura, will sign off for the final time at the end of July, concluding a storied broadcast career that spanned multiple decades and iconic stations.

Randall currently hosts afternoons on Cumulus Media's AC 95.1 KBBY from 2-6pm and anchors the "D.R. Daily" morning show on sister Classic Hits 103.3 KRUZ from 6-10am.

Born in Los Angeles, Randall launched his radio career with internships at KNX and college station KSUL at Cal State Long Beach. His early professional stops included KLON in Long Beach, KWLT-KKYY in San Diego, and KCAQ (Q-105) in Oxnard. He then spent two decades on-air at KRTH (K-Earth 101) in Los Angeles, one of the nation's leading Oldies stations, where his voice became familiar to generations of Southern California listeners.

Reflecting on his career, Randall said, "I'm humbled to have entertained over this medium. The true fruit of one's work is in the response, years down the line, when people say they enjoyed listening. More than anything, it's gratifying, and I am thankful for that."

Cumulus Ventura Vice President and Market Manager Sommer Frisk praised Randall's enduring professionalism, saying, "Dave Randall is one of the most professional and steadfast people I've ever worked with. Through every format shift, ratings book, and challenging moment-he showed up with grace, heart, and an unwavering commitment to doing the job right. He's not just a great broadcaster-he's a great man."

Operations Manager Dave Daniels added, "D.R. is the consummate radio professional and has delivered day in and day out for our team. I am grateful to have had the privilege to work alongside him and wish him nothing but a wonderful, relaxing retirement!"
