''Hey Morton'' Morning Show Expands to Nashville

Benztown's syndicated morning show "Hey Morton" made its debut this week on new affiliate 105.1 WJZM, an AC outlet owned by Fowler Media and serving the Nashville area from its Clarksville, TN, base. Originating from XHITZ-FM (Z90) San Diego, "Hey Morton" is a fast-paced, family-friendly weekday morning show airing live from 5-10am. Hosted by Rick Morton, Edina Macic, and producer D-Rock (Derrick Malbrough), the show already airs in markets including San Diego, Boise, and Key West.
Morton said, "We are thrilled to be coming to Clarksville and the Nashville area. D-Rock has his boots and cowboy hat ready and Edina's getting her line dancing down. Benztown's Mark Wilson praised the show's appeal for stations looking for lively, family-appropriate content. "Hey Morton is a complete one-stop shop for stations looking for content that's relatable, hot topic, and comedic," Wilson said. "Hosts Rick, Edina, and D-Rock have the show crew chemistry that will complement your Monday through Friday programming schedule in any chosen daypart."
The show regularly features celebrity guests, with recent appearances by Jerry Seinfeld, Matt Rife, Jim Gaffigan, and Jeremy Piven. "Hey Morton" is available for syndication in all market sizes and formats. Benztown offers the program for cash or barter.
