Veteran Sports/Talk personality Scott Ferrall is no longer with SportsGrid, the 24-hour sports wagering network, reports thesportingtribune.com, citing a series of social media posts made this week. Ferrall and several other hosts and contributors announced their departures, though the company has not released an official statement addressing the reported layoffs.

Ferrall, 59, had hosted "Ferrall Coast to Coast" and other programs for the network since joining in 2020. A post on X from the official "Ferrall on Grid" account on Sunday confirmed the show's end: "For everyone who has been asking, the show is unfortunately no longer on the air. Thank you to all the fans who have followed us over the years!"

Other air talent, including host Mike Carver and contributors Jo Madden, Mathias Berbel, and Brian Ciano, also revealed on social media that their roles at SportsGrid had concluded. Gabriel Morency, host of "SportsRage," said his program would no longer air on SportsGrid TV but would continue as a podcast. He added that he would remain involved with other shows on the network.

As of Sunday, SportsGrid's website listed only three live programs -- "The Early Line Live," "NewsWire Live," and "GameTime Decision Live," hosted by Kevin Walsh -- indicating a potentially significant reduction in the network's original programming lineup.

Ferrall, known for his gravelly voice and animated delivery, built a national following through stints at SiriusXM's Howard Stern channels, CBS Sports Radio, and other major outlets over the past three decades. His addition to SportsGrid in 2020 coincided with the company's push into sports betting content.
