Audacy's Country WDAF-FM (106.5 The Wolf) in Kansas City has parted ways with several longtime personalities. Morning co-host and Assistant PD/MD Codie Allen announced that Friday marked the final broadcast of the "Codie and Zeke" morning show, ending a four-year run alongside Zeke Montana. Montana joined the program in August, 2021 after a lengthy tenure at KBEQ (Q104), where he had been on mornings since 2002.

Allen, who has spent her radio career in Kansas City, called the change "the closing of one chapter and beginning of the next," adding she will miss being part of listeners' mornings but is "truly okay."

Afternoon host Jeff "Shotgun" Jaxson also signed off after 18 years at The Wolf, capping a 33-year career on Kansas City airwaves that began at KBEQ in 1992. In a lengthy Facebook post, Jaxson thanked listeners for decades of memories, recalling on-air connections from night shows in the '90s to afternoon drives in recent years. He emphasized there was no ill will toward the station or Audacy, noting he will continue working in a smaller role with the Kansas City Chiefs Radio Network and hinted he might return to local radio in the future.
