Stephen A. Smith, the outspoken broadcaster, author, and television personality, is expanding his media presence with two new SiriusXM programs. Smith's new daily sports talk show, The Stephen A. Smith Show, debuts today at 1pm ET on Mad Dog Sports Radio (channel 82). Airing weekdays from 1-3pm ET, the program will showcase Smith's signature style of debate and opinion, while engaging listeners through a new interactive feature called Get Serious with Stephen A. Smith.
Fans can submit short voice notes or written "hot takes" on the day's biggest sports stories, with Smith reacting live on air -- agreeing, firing back, or even roasting outrageous takes. Selected participants will earn Smith's "Stamp of Approval" rating, shareable as digital graphic cards.
In addition, SiriusXM announced the premiere date for Smith's new live politics and culture show, Straight Shooter with Stephen A. Smith, set to launch September 17 on the bipartisan P.O.T.U.S. channel (channel 124). The program will air live every Wednesday at 6pm ET, featuring interviews with political leaders, business figures, and entertainment personalities alongside Smith's unfiltered commentary on current events. Listeners will also be able to join the discussion via live calls.
Following each broadcast, Straight Shooter will be released as a podcast across major platforms and as a full-length video on YouTube the next day.
"I've spent my career speaking my mind, asking tough questions, and zeroing in on the issues that matter most," Smith said. "Whether it's my new sports show on Mad Dog Sports Radio or talking politics on P.O.T.U.S., I'm here to challenge, entertain, and engage SiriusXM listeners."
Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM's President and Chief Content Officer, called Smith "a perfect fit" for the platform, citing his "unique voice, unparalleled energy, and range of interests."
