iHeartMedia's WUMR-FM (Rumba 106.1) Philadelphia adds Jholimar Valera, known on-air as DJ Jholi, as its newest air personality, DJ and digital content creator. She'll produce local segments for the Enrique Santos Morning Show weekdays from 6-10am, spinning a weekday commercial-free mix at noon, and hosting Sunday afternoons from 1-5pm.
"We're thrilled to welcome DJ Jholi to the Rumba family," said Jonathan Tineo, Director of On-Air & Quality Assurance at Rumba 106.1 and iHeartLatino East Coast. "Her energy, talent, and dedication to both radio and content creation will help us continue to elevate the sound and experience of Latin music for our listeners, and her creativity and passion for entertainment align perfectly with Rumba 106.1's mission to connect with Philadelphia's vibrant Latino community."
A bilingual talent fluent in both Spanish and English, DJ Jholi brings experience in radio, live events, and digital content. She has previously worked with WOCQ in New Jersey and WHAT in Philadelphia.
Beyond radio, DJ Jholi has built a strong social media following, sharing music, culture, and behind-the-scenes content with fans. Her work includes interviewing artists, curating playlists, producing commercials, and representing stations at major community festivals and events.
"I am honored and proud to join the iHeartRadio family here in Philadelphia," said DJ Jholi. "Music connects us with different nationalities and helps us heal spiritually. I am ready to share my positive energy with Rumba's audience through every moment on air and every musical mix. I invite everyone to join me in this new phase -- let's celebrate together the music that unites us."
