Syndicated Urban morning show "DeDe in the Morning," hosted by Radio Hall of Famer DeDe McGuire, is expanding its footprint with the addition of five new affiliate stations. These include WHJX-FM (Hot 106.5) in Jacksonville FL, WDLD-FM (Live 96.7) in Hagerstown MD, WQKS-HD2 (STREAMZ 100.5) in Montgomery AL, WCDW-HD3 (Hot 92.9) in Binghamton NY, and WHGM (SOUL 1330 AM/100.1 FM) in Havre de Grace MD.

DJ Fresh, Program Director of STREAMZ 100.5 in Montgomery, said DeDe McGuire "knows how to engage listeners and perform consistently in competitive morning drive environments." Mike Shriver, Operations Manager at Live 96.7 in Hagerstown, said the program brings "the right mix of energy, laughs, real talk, and audience interaction" to the station's lineup.

The Jacksonville move places DeDe in the Morning on two Cox Media Group Urban stations in the market. Elroy Smith, Director of Urban Content at Cox Media Group and Program Director of Hot 106.5 and Power 106.1, described the dual placement as unprecedented locally, noting that the show will now reach both R&B and hip-hop audiences across the two frequencies.

McGuire said the expansion reflects growing demand for the show in multiple markets. "Adding five new stations means more laughs, more love, and more fun," she said, adding that she looks forward to growing the audience nationwide.
