Darius Bradford to Host FOXY 106.9 Mornings in St. Louis

Roberts Metro Broadcasting will launch The Darius Bradford Show on Monday, February 23, airing weekday mornings from 6-10am on FOXY 106.9 FM (K295CQ) in St. Louis.
The program will serve as the station's new Urban AC morning show, featuring a mix of social commentary, culturally focused discussions and humor alongside R&B and throwback music. The show will also stream online at foxy1069.com.
Bradford, a St. Louis native, is a national comedian and radio personality known for observational humor and storytelling. In a statement, he thanked Program Director Don "DJ Wrekk-1" Williams and Roberts Metro Broadcasting for the opportunity, saying he plans to bring energy and authenticity to the morning slot.
Joining Bradford as co-host is April Simpson, an Emmy Award-winning television journalist and media personality. Simpson previously spent 12 years at KTVI Fox 2 in St. Louis and has hosted programs on KPLR 11. She also serves as executive producer of the nationally syndicated podcast The April Show. Simpson said the program will focus on authentic voices and community-driven conversations.
Don "DJ Wrekk-1" Williams said the addition of Bradford and Simpson marks a new chapter for the station's morning programming.
