WDZH-FM (ALT 98.7) in Detroit has named Amanda Habrowski as the station's new morning host. "Amanda in the AM" will debut March 12 and air weekdays from 6-10am ET. Most recently, she served as Content Director and afternoon host at KYMT (93.1 The Mountain) in Las Vegas. Her career has also included stops in Fort Wayne and Portland, along with work as a voice actor and content creator.
Audacy Detroit Senior Vice President and Market Manager Debbie Kenyon said the addition reflects the station's focus on strengthening its local identity and alternative music presence. She described Habrowski's connection to the city and personality as a strong fit for the station's direction.
Habrowski called the new role a homecoming, saying she originally left Detroit to pursue opportunities in the industry and is grateful to return after years of building her career.
Habrowski first gained national attention in 2008 when she appeared on VH1's reality series Flavor of Love 3, where host Flava Flav gave her the nickname "ICE."
With the change, the weekday lineup on ALT 98.7 will feature "Amanda in the AM" from 6-10am, Ian Camfield from 10am-3pm, and Dallas Osborn from 3-7pm.
