WMMJ (Majic 102.3) Washington, DC has announced the return of veteran personality Russ Parr, who will take over the Urban outlet's afternoon slot beginning Monday, April 27. He will be heard weekdays from 3-7pm.

Parr rejoins the Majic 102.3 lineup following a series of social media teases confirming his return to the station, where he previously hosted mornings with "The Russ Parr Morning Show" from 6-10am.

Joining Parr in afternoons will be members of his longtime team, including co-host and executive producer Tanisha Nichole, DJ Sixth Sense with a weekday mix at 5 p.m., and Alfredas delivering the "Daily Horrorscope," along with recurring show characters.

Parr said he looks forward to reconnecting with listeners across the Washington, DC region. Urban One Co-President of the Audio Division Eddie Harrell Jr. called Parr's return a major addition to the station, citing his strong connection with the audience.

Operations Manager Arthur "A-Plus" Willis added that Parr's experience and on-air presence will bring renewed energy to the station's afternoon programming.
