Pebbles Exits WBQT (HOT 96.9) Mornings to Grow Brand

Pebbles is stepping away from her role on the WBQT (HOT 96.9) morning show in Boston, ending a long run as a key voice on Beasley Media Group's outlet to focus on expanding her Positively Pebbles brand.

The move shifts her away from daily on-air duties, though she will continue to engage audiences through the Positively Pebbles platform, including its podcast and weekly newsletter. The initiative centers on community-focused storytelling and positive, issue-driven conversations.

During her tenure, Pebbles earned multiple honors, including a Gracie Award from the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation for her public affairs program Voices with Pebbles. She was also named Broadcaster of the Year in 2023 by the Massachusetts Association of Broadcasters and has been inducted into the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

In a statement, Pebbles said she is "incredibly grateful" for her time connecting with listeners each morning, adding that the transition will allow her to focus more on storytelling and community impact through her brand.

Beasley executives credited her with building a strong connection with listeners and playing a significant role in the Boston market. The company said it will continue to support the growth of the Positively Pebbles platform as she moves into the next phase of her career.
