iHeartMedia CHR KDWB-FM in Minneapolis has debuted a new morning show lineup, "Falen & Colt," following the retirement of longtime host Dave Ryan. The new program airs weekdays from 6-10am.

Falen Bonsett returns to mornings after previously serving as Ryan's co-host from 2012 until 2023, when she transitioned to afternoons to launch her own show. She is joined by Colt, while longtime producer and co-host Jenny remains part of the morning program. Vont will move to afternoons.

Falen said stepping into the role carries special significance as she becomes the first woman to lead mornings on the station.

"To lead mornings on such an iconic station and become the first woman to hold this role is incredibly special," Falen said. "I also have so much respect for what Dave built over the years and the connection he created with listeners."

Rich Davis, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Minneapolis, said the company viewed Falen as the natural successor to Ryan after more than a decade as part of the station's morning team. "We knew replacing a legend like Dave Ryan wasn't going to easy. Luckily for us, we have the perfect person right here in our building," Davis said. "Falen solidified herself as a true talent during her over 10 years working with Dave."

Ryan retired earlier this year after decades leading mornings at KDWB, where he became one of the Twin Cities' best-known radio personalities.
