Bob Bronson has retired from WROR, ending a broadcasting career that spanned decades in Boston, New York and other major markets. He officially signed off Friday from 105.7 WROR, where he co-hosted "The ROR Morning Show" alongside Lauren Beckham Falcone, known on-air as LBF. He returned to Boston radio in 2019 after spending 10 years hosting mornings at WLTW "106.7 Lite FM."
A native of Maine, Bronson began his broadcasting career after serving in the United States Navy, where he worked as a radio and television host aboard the Sixth Fleet flagship. Following his military service, he attended Emerson College and went on to become a familiar voice on Boston radio.
Over the years, Bronson worked at several Boston stations, including WMEX, WVBF and WSSH, before moving on to radio positions in Raleigh, North Carolina, Manchester, New Hampshire and New York City.
LBF and show producer Aaron Natti will continue with the WROR morning program.
