Dennis & Judi Reunite on NJ 101.5 for Middays

WKXW-FM (New Jersey 101.5) Trenton has announced the return of longtime host Dennis Malloy, who will reunite with co-host Judi Franco for middays beginning July 13. "The Dennis & Judi Show" will air weekdays from 10am-2pm, restoring one of the News/Talker's most recognizable talk radio pairings after Malloy stepped away from the station in 2025.

As part of the lineup change, Eric "EJ" Johnson, who joined Franco in middays following Malloy's departure last year, will transition to the role of Operations Manager for Townsquare New Jersey. In his new position, Johnson will help oversee programming for the company's stations in Atlantic City, the Jersey Shore, and the Princeton-Trenton markets, while continuing weekend music shifts and fill-in talk hosting duties.

Malloy's return reunites a team that became a fixture on New Jersey radio after he and Franco were paired together in 1997. Their chemistry helped make the midday program one of the station's signature shows during a nearly three-decade run.

A South Philadelphia native, Malloy began his radio career in 1976 at WRDR in Hammonton, NJ, and worked in a variety of roles including news, sports play-by-play, music programming, and sales. He also performed stand-up comedy, opening for comedian Jerry Seinfeld during his comedy career. Malloy joined New Jersey 101.5 in 1993 before teaming with Franco four years later.

In a message to listeners, Johnson expressed gratitude for the opportunity to return to the station last year and work alongside Franco, describing New Jersey 101.5 as "home." He said he looks forward to supporting the company's programming efforts across New Jersey in his expanded management role.
