Scott Davidson Exits iHeartMedia in Cleveland

Scott Davidson has exited iHeartMedia as part of the company's latest round of staff reductions. Davidson most recently served as a national correspondent for the iHeart National Sports Network and as Sports Gambling Expert for News/Talk WTAM/Cleveland, roles he held for the past six years. He also hosted middays on Classic Hits "Sunny 101.7" WHOF-FM/Canton and weekend shifts on Classic Hits WMJI-FM (Majic 105.7)/Cleveland.
Davidson joined iHeartMedia's Canton cluster in 2018 as Program Director of New Country 99.7 and Adult Hits WHOF-FM, while continuing to host mornings on WHOF-FM. Before joining the company, he held programming and on-air positions at WHYI-FM (Y-100)/Miami, WMBX/West Palm Beach and WKDD/Akron, and served as Music Director for the former Hot 95.9 in Akron.
No replacement or additional staffing changes have been announced.
