KRMG Launches Hill & Berg in Afternoon Drive

Cox Media Group's News/Talk KRMG-FM (96.5) Tulsa has launched "The KRMG Afternoon News with Hill & Berg," pairing April Hill and Steve Berg for weekday afternoon drive. Hill and Berg will host the program weekdays from 4-6pm.

"April and Steve are two of the strongest voices on our news team, and bringing them together for the afternoon is a natural fit," said KRMG Program Director Levi May. "They know Tulsa, they know news, and most importantly, they know how to connect with our listeners."

"I'm incredibly excited and honored to be stepping into the role of host of the KRMG Afternoon News," Hill said. "KRMG has such a strong connection with our community and I am thrilled to be able to spend my afternoons telling stories and interacting with listeners."

For Berg, the new assignment marks another chapter in a longtime relationship with the station that began as a listener and later included an internship. "I grew up in Tulsa listening to John Erling on KRMG, interned at the station when I was in college, and ultimately wound up working here," Berg said. "KRMG is kind of in my DNA, so to have my name attached to a KRMG show is almost surreal and very flattering."
