Bonneville International is making several programming changes across its Salt Lake City cluster, including a new afternoon assignment for Jon Smith (pictured) at KSL NewsRadio and upcoming changes at KSFI (FM100.3).
According to an internal announcement from Sue Kelley, Director of Programming for KRSP and KSFI, Smith will join KSL NewsRadio weekdays from 1-3pm beginning November 19. He will continue his duties at KRSP (103.5 The Arrow) through the end of 2026 to fulfill existing client commitments.
Additional changes are planned for KSFI as the station prepares for 2027. Kelley will move into the daily airshift currently occupied by longtime personality Rebecca, joining Brian and Rusty on FM100.3.
Rebecca will step away from her regular daily on-air schedule but remain associated with KSFI through client endorsement campaigns. Under the arrangement, she will contract directly with advertisers for endorsements that will continue airing on the station.
Kelley said a transition plan will begin rolling out in December to ensure continuity for listeners, advertisers and station personnel.
The changes will shift Smith into a weekday News/Talk role while bringing Kelley back to a regular on-air position at KSFI as the station enters the new year.
