Krantz Media Group (KMG) Networks inks a new partnership with Bourbon expert Fred Minnick (pictured), best-selling author, editor-in-chief of Bourbon+ Magazine, personality on the Spirits Network and the curator for the annual Bourbon & Beyond music festival held in Louisville, KY. Minnick is frequently interviewed by the international media including the BBC, The Atlantic, CBS News, CBS This Morning, NPR, New York Times, NBC, FOX News and others. The partnership will bring a wide array of audio programming to listeners worldwide as well as live programming onsite as current and planned events.
"I couldn't be more honored and thrilled to work with such a dynamic radio executive and company like KMG to build an audio platform," remarked Minnick, "This partnership will help accomplish my goal of having a hand in every media for spirits."
Minnick met KMG CEO Gary Krantz while sitting across from each other at a dinner at the annual X Live Convention in Las Vegas last year. As Minnick recalled, "I started picking his brain about all these radio personalities I used to and still listen to. As it turned out, he worked with most of them. Gary also picked my brain about bourbon. Little did I know he was feeling me out for a potential partnership. People love a good drink, and I love educating folks about the good stuff."
"Fred Minnick of the most compelling media personalities have ever met," added Krantz. "After serving in Iraq, he began a career in bourbon and has created huge success and a massive following in television, books, magazines, and as a regular guest on radio stations around the world. KMG is very excited to build success with several projects in the works for all forms of radio and podcasts."
