Entercom relaunches KRBQ-FM (Q102.1), the Bay's Old School in San Francisco as "The New Q102.1." The station will air curated gold-based Rhythmic Classic Hits, including mass appeal titles from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. The change is effective immediately. The station will announce programming updates in the coming weeks.
"Q102 has already built a great audience and they have been telling us to play more of the familiar, rhythmic hits," said Senior VP/Market Manager Gregory Nemitz. "With the relaunch of The NEW Q102.1, a Bay Area station is finally playing more of the classics we all know and love."
