Kobi Kearney exits iHeartMedia CHR WNRW-FM (Radio Now 98.9)/Louisville as Program Director and afternoon host after four years. He also handled programming at co-owned Hot AC WLGX-FM (100.5 Kiss FM). The 20-year radio vet joined the station from iHeartMedia co-owned CHR KWNW-FM (101.9 Radio NOW)/Memphis where he served in similar duties. Previously, he was Music Director of WDCG-FM (G105)/Raleigh.

In a social media post, Kearney wrote, "I guess it's ironic that I'm celebrating 20 years in radio this month and all of a sudden I am no longer on the radio. Thanks to everyone in Louisville and Southern Indiana who has showed me love and support for last 4 years. I am a believer in the old saying everything happens for a reason, so hopefully the universe has something dope in store for me."

Kearney joined G105 and sister Rhythmic AC WKSL-FM (93.9 Kiss FM) as Assistant PD in July, 2012, from WRDW-FM (Wired 96.5) Philadelphia, where he served as Music Director and night personality. Reach him at kobiontheradio@gmail.com.
