JVC Media launched "Florida Man Radio" Monday on WDYZ-AM and W288CJ in Orlando, a new Talk outlet with "raunchy humor" reports the Orlando Sentinel. Bubba the Love Sponge Clem will host mornings from Tampa, and Shannon Burke will handle afternoons, and the station streams at floridamanradio.com. The newspaper's Hal Boedeker wrote that "any topic, including their lives, will be material for their shows. Burke cited political correctness as cramping too many hosts' styles."

"The point is the city of Orlando has a choice in talk radio," said Burke. "I'm talking about real, spoken word, just real talk radio... A lot of people hold back because they don't want to start something. It's a get-cha society."

"We're not going to be afraid to talk about anything," added Clem. "I think this is going to be some of the most polarizing radio that Orlando has had in a long time."

Burke most recently worked at the former "NewsRadio 106.7" in Atlanta from 2016 to earlier this year. Bubba, most recently worked at WHBO-AM (1040)/Tampa.
