WideOrbit Integrates With Veritone for Media Attribution

WideOrbit and Veritone are streamlining the media attribution workflow for radio stations by automating the data extraction process. Through WideOrbit's API, Veritone Attribute can access and correlate metadata in a scalable manner, eliminating manual processes, data delays and accuracy risks. WideOrbit's flagship product, WO Traffic, combines all client data into a single source, while the API centralizes specific customer log information and transmits it to Veritone Attribute programmatically.

"As media continues to become more complex, it's imperative that software automation simplifies previously manual processes for broadcasters," said WideOrbit Founder/CEO Eric R. Mathewson. "This partnership with Veritone extends our original vision to improve the buying and selling of media - by reinventing the entire data collection and attribution workflow into a more efficient, accurate, and impactful process."

"API integrations of this kind are not common -- especially for the radio industry -- and we're happy to facilitate broadcasters with a systematic way to provide their traffic data and gain rich performance insights through automation," said Veritone Senior Director/Product Management Michael Kennedy. "The quality and purity of data not only enables broadcasters and their advertisers to make better informed decisions, but it also aids in demonstrating the value of the broadcast medium."

WideOrbit's Attribution API for Veritone will be available beginning Friday, September 27.
