A new iHeartRadio original podcast launched Monday, just in time for Veteran's Day. "Service: Stories of Hunger and War," hosted by Jacqueline Raposo, a food writer and podcast producer, uses the connections that we forge with our foods to tell the stories of hardship and heartbreak of wartime. Each episode will follow a veteran from their home and day-to-day life in the U.S. through their overseas deployment and back again.
From World War II vets to present day soldiers, the podcast reveals the tales of where they fought, the people they fed along the way, how they ate and what homegrown flavors they missed the most. The first episode is now available on iHeartRadio.
