Brian Rickman Named Leighton/St. Cloud Ops Mgr., KZPK PD

Veteran programmer Brian Rickman is named Operations Manager for Leighton Broadcasting's five-station cluster in St. Cloud, MN and Program Director of Country KZPK-FM (Wild Country 99). Most recently, he operated The Rickman Consultancy and Static Multimedia Networks, which he will continue for current clients. Previously, he spent ten years as Regional Director of Programming at URBan Radio Broadcasting before his position was eliminated.

He succeeds KZPK PD Kat, who'll now focus as morning co-host on the "KCLD Morning Playhouse with JJ Holiday." Rickman has also held Regional, Operations and Brand Management positions for Cumulus, NextMedia, Cromwell Radio Group and Greater Media.

"I'm thrilled to join Leighton Broadcasting and wish to thank Bob Leighton and Mark St. John for this wonderful opportunity," said Rickman. "I'm excited to get back to the day to day operations of a great set of locally focused stations. Now, I just need to find a sub-zero winter coat."
