Sad to report that WYZB-FM (Nash FM 105.5)/Fort Walton Beach afternoon personality Skip Davis, a 35-year radio veteran, has died. He succumbed to cancer on Tuesday, December 3. During his time at the Cumulus Media Country outlet, Davis also served as Program Director, midday host and as the cluster's Production Director.

The station wrote on its Facebook page, "With hearts full of sadness, the NASH family announces we have lost a son. Skip Davis passed away in his sleep this morning. He moved on in peace and without any distress. Skip has been a radio presence on the Gulf Coast for decades. We ask that you keep Skip's wife, his family and friends in your hearts over the coming days, weeks and so on. Rest in peace Skip, love your radio family."
