iHM/DC Names Dustin Matthews Director of Rock Programming

iHeartMedia appoints Dustin Matthews as Director of Rock Programming for Classic Rock WBIG-FM (Big 100) and Alternative WWDC-FM (DC101)/Washington, DC, effective January 13. He joins the DC group from the company's co-owned cluster in Charlotte where he most recently served as Program Director and afternoon host for WEND-FM (106.5 The End). Matthews has also previously held Director of Alternative Rock Programming duties for iHM/St. Louis.

Throughout his career, Matthews has held several programming roles for various stations including Alternative KLLT-FM (ALT 104.9)/St. Louis, Alternative KDXA-FM (ALT 106.3)/Des Moines, WRXL-FM/Richmond VA and WFNX-FM/Boston. He began his career at WIMZ-FM/Knoxville TN.
