Entercom Launches V-103 International on WVEE-HD2/Atlanta

Entercom launches "V-103 International" on WVEE-FM-HD2 in Atlanta. The station, which is powered by the U.S. Census Bureau, will feature a wide range of genres including afro beats, dance hall, reggae, soca, hip hop, top 40 and big chune, and will serve as a complement to sister station WVEE-FM (V-103). As part of the launch, air personalities Osei "The Dark Secret" Kweku and Mix Master David will curate the station programmed by Entercom Urban Format Captain and V-103 Brand Manager Reggie Rouse. Osei and Mix Master David will co-host the "International Show" live on V-103 on Saturdays from 5-6pm.

"Atlanta is an international city and we have a responsibility to serve everyone in this great city 24 hours a day, seven days a week," said Rouse. "V-103 International strives to build an inclusive community for those looking for a diverse and engaging listening experience, both in this great city and nationwide via RADIO.COM."

Osei "The Dark Secret" Kweku has managed to merge his love for music and philanthropy into a trans-continental culture exchange by way of digital media. While attending Hampton University, Kweku launched his radio career as an air personality for 103.9 The Beat, hosting a variety of segments. He has since been heard on airwaves in many cities along the East coast. In 2012, Kweku launched Dark Secret International which is dedicated to developing long term business relationships with African, Asian and Hispanic communities across the globe.

Atlanta-based international DJ Mix Master David originally hails from Jamaica. At age 16, he joined "Super Saint Disco" in St. Andrew and travelled across Jamaica performing in sound clashes and dances. He later joined popular Jamaican station Hot 102 FM where he produced four award-winning and top-rated current affairs radio programs. Mix Master David is one of the top requested DJs in Atlanta today, he plays dancehall parties as well as crossover events mixing hip hop, top 40 and electronic music.

V-103 International will kick off with a launch party featuring actor, singer and model Rotimi, Koffee, HoodCelebrityy and Reekado on Friday, February 28 at Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta.
