Estrella Media Premieres ''El Informativo'' With Don Cheto

Estrella Media has launched a special one-hour COVID-19 news program on its national radio show, "Don Cheto Al Aire." Entitled "El Informativo," the new radio segment is a newscast containing the most important information emerging from the U.S., Mexico and the world regarding the novel coronavirus. It will air weekdays at 11am/1pm CT.

"This program was developed as part of Estrella Media's ongoing efforts to continue being a hub of reliable information for our Latino audience. It is meant to keep our community informed of what is happening in regards to this pandemic, which has had an adverse impact on the communities we serve. The show is comprised of several detailed segments aimed at informing and conveying trust, hope and optimism, without generating or causing unnecessary panic among our radio listeners," stated Estrella Media Executive VP/Radio Programming Eddie Leon.

"El Informativo" is a platform for specialists, experts and the general public to share information and opinions and the latest official developments and updates regarding the ongoing pandemic in a way that's easy to understand and navigate. Reporters in Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas and various parts of the country have joined this new effort hosted by a group of recognized radio and television personalities, including Don Cheto, Pepe Garza, Giselle Bravo, and Garcia Solis.
