Cumulus Media's Westwood One and spoken media specialty agency Oxford Road are partnering to launch "The Bongino Brief," a daily short-form report on political issues from former Secret Service Agent, former NYPD officer and author Dan Bongino. "The Bongino Brief" launches Monday and is available through smart speakers.

Westwood One Podcast Network and Oxford Road are partnering to lead the development of personality-driven flash briefing programs in the smart speaker marketplace. This marks the next form of short-format streaming media, as personalities and not just news come to the format.

These briefings extend popular programming to a rapidly emerging consumption platform and deliver fans and listeners of Westwood One podcasts an additional touchpoint and update from their favorite podcast personalities.
