Victor Valley, CA, radio stations Y102, La X 103.1, Kat Country 100.7, HD96.3, 106.5 The Fox and Talk960 are teaming up to give away sling bags filled with school supplies to Victor Valley students. The event is happening this Saturday August 1, from 10am to 12pm at Valley Hi Kia in Victorville, CA.

"Part of being good stewards of the community and serving the public interest is stepping up to help when you see a need. Back to school is happening whether school is in person, at home or on-line. Our community needs help as some families can't afford school supplies," said El Dorado Victor Valley General Manager Chris Fleming.

COVID19 social distancing will be observed: vehicles will drive through the event and school supplies will be placed in the child's bag as they drive through. Supplies will be given away on a first come, first serve basis.

There will be local air talent present to show support for the community as children get ready for school during this challenging time.
