KKFR-FM (Power 98.3)/Phoenix afternoon personality Joshua Carmona ("Crisco Kidd") resigns from the Riviera Broadcasting Rhythmic CHR outlet to make a run for mayor of Phoenix. Carmona, who hosts the "Crisco Kidd Block Party," also airs on SiriusXM's "Pitbull's Globalization" on weekends. The veteran radio personality's previous stops include Houston, Albuquerque, Dallas and So-Cal spanning 21 years.

Carmona said, "With the events that have affected our city since March, and our elected officials' lack of response and leadership, my mind and my heart, feel it it's time to represent and serve the people of Phoenix."

In his time in Phoenix, Crisco has hosted community events, fundraisers, school functions and invests his time, money and heart into local charities and neighborhoods.
