Chelsea Clinton and iHeartMedia Announce New Podcast

iHeartMedia has announced "In Fact with Chelsea Clinton," a new iHeartRadio Original Podcast hosted by former First Daughter and public health expert, Chelsea Clinton. The show will join the iHeartPodcast Network - which includes "You and Me Both with Hillary Clinton" and "Why Am I Telling You This? with Bill Clinton." Listeners can hear the first episode launching April 13 on iHeartRadio and all major podcast platforms.

"In Fact with Chelsea Clinton" will pull back the curtain on some of the biggest public health challenges of our time. Each week on the podcast, Clinton - who holds a doctorate in international relations, a master's in public health, and teaches at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health - will sit down with experts, activists and an assortment of surprising guests who share her passion for science, evidence and, of course, facts. Through conversations with guests including actress Jane Fonda, Mayor of Atlanta Keisha Lance Bottoms, Mayor of D.C. Muriel Bowser, actor Dax Shepard and more, Clinton will connect the dots between past and present public health crises and highlight stories that demonstrate how public health affects us all. From HIV/AIDS to environmental justice to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, "In Fact with Chelsea Clinton" will leave no topic unexplored.

In the podcast's debut episode, Chelsea will sit down with Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness, who has been a vocal advocate for people with HIV/AIDS since publicly sharing his own HIV-positive status in 2019; activist Peter Staley; and Dr. Oni Blackstock, an HIV physician and health equity advocate, to explore the trajectory of HIV/AIDS from the early days of activism through modern day.

"With more attention than ever being paid to public health, we have an opportunity to expand awareness beyond COVID-19 to other real and pervasive issues that impact us all," said Clinton. "On this podcast, I'm looking forward to bringing conversations with some of the smartest and most interesting people I know to a new audience. From stigma to choice to the environment, my hope is that listeners will walk away from each episode informed, entertained, inspired, and with a better understanding of why public health matters - certainly in this moment and always."
