WKLH-FM/Milwaukee Says Goodbye to Steve Palec
RADIO ONLINE | Thursday, April 15, 2021 |
Longtime air personality Steve Palec is hanging up the headphones at Saga Communications' Classic Rock WKLH in Milwaukee. His critically acclaimed Sunday morning show "Rock N Roll Roots" officially ends this Sunday, April 18 beginning at 9am.
In reflection on his time at WKLH, Palec remarked, "I am grateful and frankly amazed at the freedom and opportunity I was afforded back in 1987. I'm proud of telling stories, sharing music, having fun, interviewing legends and informing an audience over the course of wars, tragedies, births, bulletins, weather issues and 7 U.S. Presidents... while never once 'mailing it in' since I prepared for each and every show for hours on end."
WKLH's weekday lineup begins with Mornings with Dave, Dorene and Gino 5-10am, Dave Coombs 10am-3pm and Craig Carson with Sandy Maxx 3-7pm.
