KEZP (104.3 The Bridge)/Alexandria, LA debuted a new sound and a new look on Monday with the addition of Jeff Akin as Program Director and morning host. The station, which hit a low point last fall when it was knocked off the air for several weeks during hurricanes, has re-launched with a new logo, new imaging voices, new website, new jingles, new on-air lineup and brand new studios in downtown Alexandria.
Akin's live and local morning show replaces the syndicated Kevin & Taylor. He's also added local midday host Sheila K to middays and Jack Robertson to afternoons.
"Jeff is going to do a great job in Alexandria," stated SVP Programming Bob Thornton, "He has a tremendous track record in CCM Radio, understand the audience and our advertisers needs and will be a great addition to the community."
The stations new branding was spearheaded by new SMG CCM Branding Manager Jeremiah Richardson.
