BRN Oklahoma GM Paul Sublett Dies in Motorcycle Accident

Sad to report that Bott Radio Network/Oklahoma General Manager Paul Sublett has died in a motorcycle accident. He was a 37-year veteran of the Christian Radio broadcaster. Sublett began as a Studio Operator in 1984. Over the years he also served as Engineer, Operations Manager and then Station Manager. During his tenure Paul oversaw the growth of BRN in Oklahoma from one 250 watt AM daytime station, to 12 stations serving the state.

Bott Radio Network Chairman & CEO Rich Bott said, "Paul died doing something he loved. He was on a motorcycle road trip vacation with his son, brother and a family friend through the scenic eastern Tennessee area when the accident took his life. (None of the others were involved in the accident.) We honor Paul's service. And I am thankful for his friendship."

He added, "Please join us in praying for Paul's wife Mary, son Joey, and daughters Jessica and Jennifer as they grieve the loss of Paul."

Joseph Palmer has been appointed to oversee the Oklahoma operations on an interim basis.
