"Jared and Katie in the Morning" on WKZL/Greensboro were awarded "Morning Show of the Year for Large Market" from the NCAB (North Carolina Association of Broadcasters) for the second time in 2 years. They were competing against morning shows in the Greensboro, Raleigh and Charlotte markets. Jared and Katie in the Morning previously won the same award in 2017.

"We were so honored and beyond thrilled to win this award in 2017 and are shocked and humbled to win it for a 2nd time this year," said Katie Tesh.

"We take pride in doing the best we can and representing the Triad and feels good to be honored with this award. It means a lot to me personally because I know that type of talented shows we are competing against in Greensboro, Raleigh and Charlotte markets... truly humbling," added Jared Pike.

Jared and Katie's show centers around the lives of the show members Jared, Katie, Jason Goodman, "Man Kisser" Matt and Intern Squidward. The duo won Best Large Market Radio Show in 2017 and 2021 from the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters (NCAB) and 107.5 WKZL won Best Large Market Radio Station from the NCAB as well.
