KAJA (KJ97)/San Antonio Names Alek Halverson as PD

iHeartMedia San Antonio appoints Alek Halverson as Program Director for Country KAJA-FM (KJ97), effective immediately. Halverson joins iHM San Antonio from the company's co-owned cluster in Austin, where he most recently served as the Assistant Program Director for KHFI (96.7 Kiss FM). He also served and will continue as the afternoon talent for KASE 101. Halverson began his career at KVOX in Fargo, ND.

"With his tremendous knowledge of the country music format, we knew he was the right person to lead this excellent brand.
