Michigan Radio Names Matt Shafer Powell Program Director

WFYI Public Media/Indianapolis names Chief Content Officer Matt Shafer Powell as Program Director of Michigan Radio, beginning June 6. He replaces Zoe Clark, who moves to Director of Content, overseeing the daily talk show "Stateside" along with other public affairs programming. Powell began his radio career as a reporter at Michigan Radio in the West Michigan Bureau and served as Director of News Content at the University of Tennessee's WUOT/Knoxville.
