Hawaii Broadcaster Tucker Joins iHeartRadio Honolulu

iHeartRadio/Honolulu appoints longtime Hawaii broadcaster Danielle Tucker to its team as a traffic anchor for all Honolulu stations. In addition, iHeartRadio will be adding 100 traffic reports a week across the radio cluster with the addition of traffic reports on Traditional Hawaiian KDNN-FM-HD2 (Hawai'i No Ka Oi) and Asian Pop formatted KUCD-FM-HD2 (PoP! 99.1).

Tucker is well-known to Hawaii commuters, as the longtime traffic reporter serving for 22 years with SummitMedia's radio stations in Honolulu. Before that she worked in a variety of positions, including 14 years at KKUA-KQMQ as co-host of "Morning Madness" with Michael Qseng. Tucker also teamed with Rory Wild and the Wake Up Crew on iHeartRadio's KIKI-FM (I94, now 939 The Beat).

"iHeartRadio Honolulu recognizes that as things open back up, traffic is worse than ever," said iHeartMedia Honolulu Senior VP/Programming Jamie Hyatt. "By increasing our traffic reporting presence in Honolulu, we are doing everything we can to help the people of Hawaii get to where they are going as quickly as possible. We already offer excellent traffic reports with TC Casison anchoring 'KSSK Ten Minute Traffic' and providing drive time reports on all of our iHeart stations. With the addition of Danielle Tucker to our arsenal, iHeartRadio stations in Honolulu are poised to give Hawaii radio listeners even more accurate and up-to-the-minute traffic reports for those often-grueling traffic commutes."

"It's an honor to be working at the top-ranked radio stations in Hawaii and I'm looking forward to providing listeners with up-to-the-minute traffic reports on-air and via social media to help them drive safely along their journeys," adde Tucker.
