LoCurto New NPR Sr. Dir./Broadcast Programming Strategy

Sal Locurto is appointed Senior Director of Broadcast Programming Strategy for NPR, effective June 6. Most recently, he served as Program Director of Southern California Public Radio's News/Talk KPCC/Los Angeles. Previously, Locurto was Senior VP/Program Development and Original Series at Fuse TV and VP/Programming for Rave HD.
Locurto said, "This is a fantastic opportunity to work with our exceptional programming colleagues around the country and NPR's production partners as we seek new ways to best serve audiences and fulfill our shared mission. I'm truly honored to join NPR's team."
Senior VP/Programming and Audience Development Anya Grundmann added, "Sal has a reputation as a strategic thinker, collaborative leader and supportive manager who knows how to have fun while doing great work.
