JVC Broadcasting launches a new radio format for 103.1 FM in Orlando, FL. On Monday, August 1 beginning at Noon, WFYY debuts as "The New Fly 103.1" playing the Hottest hits from Rhythmic Pop, Hip Hop, R&B and more. The new station will debut with 10,000 commercial free songs in a row and feature today's top artists including Post Malone, Doja Cat, Drake, Ariana Grande and Jack Harlow. WFYY will debut a live and local air staff after the initial 10,000 commercial free songs in a row.

JVC Florida Director of Programming and Rhythmic CHR format veteran Stevie DeMann explained, "Fly 103.1 -- Orlando's Hottest Hit Music -- is a direct result of listening to radio consumers in Central Florida. There is a clear need for a new music station in Central Florida that reflects this diverse market, plays all the hottest music, is pop culture driven, and gives away the Hottest prizes."

"I'm thrilled that we are debuting a locally researched, locally programmed, and live and local radio station for Orlando and Central Florida," said JVC Executive Shane Reeve. "I'm proud to watch Stevie and our entire team navigate Fly 103.1 to new heights. We have the right people in place to present a new, high energy, personality driven radio station to the Orlando audience."

"Radio in Orlando and across the country needs a station like Fly 103.1 - it's fresh, exciting, and of course Local," commented JVC CEO John Caracciolo. "JVC's mission is to make radio fun, engaging, and a resource for the community. I'm proud that our teams do a great job doing that every day. I'm excited to see the success of Fly 103.1 using our local blueprint - being a trusted choice for our listeners and providing great results for our clients."
