WSB/Atlanta Names Charles Dir./Branding and Programming

Veteran programmer Ken Charles joins Cox Media Group's News/Talk WSB-AM and WSBB (95.5 WSB)/Atlanta as Director of Branding and Programming, beginning September 12th. Most recently, he was Program Director of News KNX-AM & FM/Los Angeles and News Format VP for Audacy. Previously, he was VP/Programming for iHeartMedia's Sacramento cluster, as well as the National Brand Manager for all of the news, talk and sports stations.

Charles spent nearly 17 years heading up news and talk programming for iHeartMedia in several major markets including Atlanta, Houston and Miami. He began his radio career in 1995 as Director of Programming and News for WSYR and WHEN in Syracuse, NY.
