Zack Bennett is elevated Assistant Program Director at WSM-AM/Nashville. He replaces Haley Hall, who left the company earlier this month. A native Middle Tennessean, Bennett grew up in Wilson County and has worked for the Titans Radio Network after graduating from MTSU.
Bennett joined Talk WVNN-AM/Huntsville, AL, as APD in August, 2005 from Sports/Talk WGFX-FM (104.5 The Zone)/Nashville where he was a midday producer. He returned to to Middle Tennessee in 2010 and joined the air staff of WSM-FM in 2012.
In a Facebook post, Bennett wrote, "I've been freelancing there both on-the-air and behind the scenes for nearly a year, and I've loved every single minute of it. When the APD position unexpectedly came open recently, I jumped at the chance to assume that role, and I'm thrilled they chose me to fill it. I'm so excited to help lead this legendary radio station as it approaches its centennial."
