iHM Elevates Bloodworth to Mid-South Area President

iHeartMedia elevates Ronnie Bloodworth to Area President of the Midsouth Area, which encompasses Alabama, Mississippi and Memphis, TN, effective immediately. Bloodworth is a 25-year media veteran. He joined iHeartMedia in 1998, overseeing the sales teams for its Mobile market for 15 years before becoming the Market President for Mobile, Biloxi and Pensacola. He was recently elected on the board of Alabama Broadcasters Association.
Bloodworth will be responsible for all operations across the Birmingham, Gadsden, Huntsville, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa markets. He'll also continue to oversee the Biloxi, Hattiesburg, Jackson, Laurel, Memphis, Mobile, Pensacola and Tupelo.
"This is a very exciting announcement to bring these markets together; the alignment of these outstanding leaders, talent, teammates and communities are set up to truly flourish," said iHeartMedia Division President Shosh Abromovich. "Ronnie's culture-first attitude, drive for success and high bar he sets for himself and his team will take this newly combined Area to all new levels of achievement and opportunity."
