AURN Promotes Andy Anderson to Chief Revenue Officer

American Urban Radio Networks (AURN) elevates William "Andy" Anderson to Chief Revenue Officer. With his extensive experience in the industry, Anderson will be leading the charge in maximizing revenue opportunities, product acquisitions and original content creations for the company. For the past 4 years, he was President of Sales for AURN. Prior to joining the company, Anderson worked for Billboard magazine as Director, Urban/Canadian Advertising, the first African American to hold such a position with the magazine.

AURN CEO Chesley Maddox-Dorsey said, "Andy's success in developing a vision and providing strong leadership for growing company-wide activities and strategies focused on generating, maintaining and increasing revenue is unparalleled. This is a well earned promotion."

Under Andy's tenure, AURN has seen its station affiliations grow, the launch of the recently created AURN Gaming division and the addition of various digital expansions including Podcasts and Programmatic Marketing. He'll also continue to oversee new business development."

Anderson attended Howard University, is an alumnus of the National Association of Broadcasters' Executive Development Program for Radio Broadcasters at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and also serves as a member of the Nielsen Audio Advisory Council representing network radio.
