NPR's Special Coverage for 2023 State of the Union

This year for the first time NPR will offer bilingual coverage of President Biden's upcoming State of the Union with many public radio stations across the country offering multi-platform simultaneous coverage including (for the first time ever) two parallel broadcasts for both English speakers and bilingual Spanish speakers.

The English version will be hosted by "All Things Considered"'s Ari Shapiro and the bilingual version will be hosted by "Morning Edition"'s A Martínez. Coverage will air from 9-11:30pm ET on many NPR Member stations across the country, and live stream at NPR.org, which will also feature video, live blog commentary and fact checking from NPR reporters (end time of broadcast is subject to change).

NPR.org will also offer video streaming of the speech, live blog commentary and real-time fact checking. Participating NPR Member stations will have live broadcast (radio) coverage of the speech, and many stations will also carry bilingual coverage.
