Beasley Media's WMGK-FM/Philadelphia has kicked off Bruce Week in anticipation of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's return to the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday, March 16. The station's programming, which officially kicked on Monday, March 13, includes numerous music features, archive tracks and interviews each day. Announcers Matt Cord and Andre Gardner will give away the last free tickets to the sold out show. In addition, individual album tracks and multi song blocks of the band's music will be featured on the air each day.

At 6am on Thursday, March 16 (day of the show), the station will flip its format to officially become 102.9 Boss Radio and begin a tribute to Philadelphia's adopted son, Bruce Springsteen and his E Street band.

WMGK Afternoon Drive host Andre Gardner will host pre-concert coverage Thursday beginning at 2pm and feature an exclusive conversation with E Street guitarist Little Steven Van Zandt. At 7pm, 102.9 Boss Radio will continue with a concert replay of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band's longest ever U.S. performance, recorded live at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park, September 7, 2016. The 4+ hour concert will be carried in its entirety without commercial interruption.

"We know fans are going to flip as well, when they realize WMGK is going all Springsteen all day," said Program Director Bill Weston.
