Cox Media Group elevates Jodi Rainey to Vice President of National Sales within its radio business. In her new role, she'll oversee national, network and political sales for CMG's 52 stations in 11 markets. Rainey came to CMG in 2001 and brings nearly 25 years of industry experience to the National Sales team. Prior to her new role, she was the Director of National Sales, leading CMG Radio's National sales strategy and team.
"Jodi is an outstanding leader and strategic thinker, and she's passionate about delivering results for our clients and our company," said CMG Radio EVP Rob Babin. "She has a deep understanding of our business, and I'm confident she'll continue to deliver exceptional results while leading our National Sales team."
Previously, Rainey served as the National Sales Manager in Jacksonville, San Antonio, Tampa and Tulsa markets. Before that, she spent years working in-market -- including Atlanta, Tampa and Jacksonville -- to help meet her customers' advertising needs while driving CMG Radio's business.
"I'm honored to have the opportunity to work with an already successful team of talented and experienced leaders," said Rainey. "We'll continue to be laser focused on delivering results for our clients, creating growth for CMG, and positively impacting the listeners and communities across our markets."
